A Year of Growth, Gratitude, and Vision: ESI's 2025 Journey

Updated: Dec 25, 2025

A Message from the Founder/CEO of Education Solutions International (ESI)

As we close the chapter on 2025, I find myself reflecting on a year that has been nothing short of transformative for Education Solutions International. Marcus Garvey once said, "Education is the medium by which a people are prepared for the creation of their own particular civilization, and the advancement and glory of their own race." This year, we have witnessed this truth unfold in classrooms, leadership meetings, and student gatherings across the diaspora.

A Year of Unprecedented Growth

What began as a vision to strengthen educational systems has blossomed into a movement. In 2025, ESI took bold steps forward, launching both the ESI Leadership Academy and the ESI Student Academy. These programs represent our commitment to developing excellence at every level of the educational ecosystem – from the leaders who shape policy and culture to the students who will inherit tomorrow's challenges and opportunities. We worked alongside schools throughout the Caribbean and Central America, partnering to build stronger instructional systems and more effective leadership strategies. Together, we didn't just discuss change; we implemented it. We walked the halls, sat in classrooms, engaged in difficult conversations, and celebrated breakthrough moments.

This year, ESI issued hundreds of professional development certificates, tangible recognition of the dedication our educators and educational leaders bring to their craft. Each certificate represents hours of learning, reflection, and growth – investments in professional excellence that will echo through countless student lives for years to come. Our commitment to serving the educational community led us to expand our offerings significantly in 2025. We introduced new services designed specifically to meet the evolving needs of educators and educational leaders, listening carefully to what our partners told us they needed most.

For students, we created transformative experiences that extend learning beyond classroom walls. Our tutoring services provided personalized support to learners at critical moments in their academic journeys. Through service-learning initiatives, students discovered the power of contributing to their communities while developing essential life skills. And, on the horizon is our Island Hopping and Giving Summer Camp which will provide an experience where adventure, cultural exchange, and philanthropy create unforgettable memories and lasting character development. The Power of Partnership

None of this would have been possible without you – our partners, collaborators, and workshop participants who showed up with open minds and generous hearts throughout 2025. You are the educators who stayed late to implement new strategies. You are the school leaders who took risks to reimagine what's possible. You are the workshop participants who brought energy, questions, and commitment to every session.
To our donors, I extend my deepest gratitude. Your financial support is more than a transaction; it is an act of faith in the potential of education to transform lives and communities. You believed in our mission when it was still taking shape, and your generosity has enabled us to reach further and serve more effectively than we ever imagined. As Maya Angelou reminded us, "When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed." You have blessed countless lives this year.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once observed, "The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education." As we look toward 2026, this remains our North Star.
ESI's growth in 2025 happened because people like you responded to our cause with action. You saw the vision of stronger schools, more confident leaders, and empowered students, and you said, "Yes, I want to be part of that." This collective response is what built the ESI Leadership Academy, equipped hundreds of educators with new skills, and created opportunities for students to discover their potential.

The work ahead is significant, but so is our momentum. We enter 2026 with renewed energy, expanded capacity, and an unwavering commitment to educational excellence throughout the diaspora. Marcus Garvey also said, "If you have no confidence in self, you are twice defeated in the race of life." Our mission is to build that confidence – in educators, in leaders, in students, in communities.

Gratitude and Celebration

As this holiday season surrounds us with reminders of hope, renewal, and connection, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to every person who contributed to ESI's success in 2025. Whether you attended a workshop, implemented a new instructional strategy, participated in our academies, contributed financially, or simply encouraged someone else in their educational journey – you made a difference.

From the ESI family to yours: Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy 2026!

May the new year bring continued growth, deeper partnerships, and the collective realization that when we invest in education, we invest in humanity's brightest future.

"The whole world is run on bluff. No race, no nation, no man has any divine right to take advantage of others. Why allow the other fellow to bluff you?" - Marcus Garvey

Let us continue to claim our rightful place as architects of educational excellence, refusing to accept anything less than the best for our students, our educators, and our communities.
