About the Course
This self-paced online series equips teachers with the foundational strategies needed to deliver effective, inclusive mathematics instruction. Across 18 modules, participants explore differentiated, multi-sensory approaches that meet students where they are and move them forward with confidence.
The four courses build naturally on one another:
Concrete-Pictorial-Symbolic Progression introduces a structured framework for scaffolding mathematical understanding — from hands-on materials to visual models to abstract notation — helping teachers guide students through each stage with intention.
Multiple Representations in Mathematics expands teachers' instructional toolkit, showing how to present concepts through arrays, number lines, diagrams, and symbols so that all learners can access and connect mathematical ideas.
Formative Assessment & Assessment for Learning focuses on the daily practice of gathering evidence of student thinking and using it to adjust instruction in real time — closing the gap between teaching and learning.
Differentiated Instruction & Inclusive Practice brings it all together, giving teachers concrete strategies for designing tiered activities, building scaffolds, and creating a classroom environment where every student belongs and can succeed.
Each course can be completed independently in 3–5 hours and counts toward annual professional development credits for teacher credential renewal.
